Lip blush is for clients with pale lips that want to enhance the natural shape by giving them that boost of vitality color. It gives your lips more definition and a tint finish for natural, blushed toned lips. HEALED RESULTS vary. Color fades anywhere from 50-70% once healed. Not everyone is a good candidate. If interested, we do ask you send us a picture of your lips before booking. It typically lasts 1-2 years after the touchup.

This procedure is ideal for those with darker skin tones or those whose lips have darkened over time due to factors such as weather, hyperpigmentation, or medical conditions. The treatment involves injecting neutralizing ink pigments into the lip area to balance out darker tones and enhance the natural color, shape, and symmetry of the lips. How many sessions are needed?

A typical dark lip neutralization treatment includes an initial appointment followed by 1-2 touch-up sessions, spaced at least 6 weeks apart. The number of sessions needed can vary depending on individual needs, with most clients achieving their desired results in 1-3 sessions. In some cases, additional sessions may be required. This treatment is most effective for individuals with a Fitzpatrick skin type of 3 and higher.

We’re here to support you every step of the way. Here are some of our most frequently asked questions. ✨

Day 1

Immediately after treatment, lips will be a bright, vibrant color. You may have swelling, and lips may feel tight or dry.

Day 2

The color will begin to fade as swelling goes down. Your lips will be very dry.

Day 3-4

More major scabs will start forming, lifting, and peeling.

Day 5-7

Major peeling may be finished. A second, thinner layer may begin to peel. New natural color begins to appear.

Day 7-10

Peeling is subsiding, and new natural color has appeared. Lips are still very dry.

From 2-6 Weeks

Dryness has subsided. A beautiful, more natural color has appeared.

Do the following:
  • Keep your lips clean and dry of any fluid that may appear after treatment. (If too much lymph fluid, water, or sweat accumulates on your lips, it can form a thick scab, which may lead to uneven color results once healed.)
  • Keep your lips moisturized as directed by your technician.
  • For swelling, apply an ice pack with a sterile barrier or take an ibuprofen.
  • Avoid irritation from salty or spicy foods. Use a straw while drinking as your lips heal.
Don’t do the following:
  • Touch or pick the peeling on your lips, as this may lead to infection or loss of pigment.
  • Exercise for about 5 days to avoid sweating.
  • Apply cosmetics, cleansers, or lotions to lips for the first 2 weeks.
  • Schedule lip fillers, go tanning, or undergo any chemical treatments until your lips are completely healed.
  • Use saunas, steam rooms, or swim for about 1 week.
