This is a form of semi-permanent makeup that uses a cosmetic tattoo machine and a fine needle to deposit pigment into the epidermis with minimal trauma to the skin. This technique creates a soft, shaded effect, resembling a perfectly filled-in makeup look. The brows start with a darker shade at the tails and gradually fade into a lighter color at the front, achieving the signature ombre effect.

This technique allows for customization based on your desired look. We can apply ombre in a soft density for a more natural appearance or a more intense density for a bold, defined finish. Ombre powder works well for all skin types but is especially recommended for those with oily skin. With proper care, results typically last between one and three years after the touch-up.

For the best results, a second session is recommended 6–12 weeks after the initial appointment. This follow-up ensures even pigment distribution, enhances color depth, and allows for any necessary adjustments. This applies to all services.

Aftercare Instructions

Ombre Powder Brows

By following these aftercare instructions, you’ll ensure your ombre powder brows heal beautifully and last as long as possible! ✨

How to take care of your new eyebrows:

  • Clean eyebrows every day with a damp cotton pad and purified or bottled water until fully healed (it takes about 14 days for brows to partially heal).
  • Keep eyebrows dry and avoid soaking in water (e.g., swimming or sauna) while healing. When taking a shower, tilt your head back so the water slides backward and does not hit your brows directly.
  • Avoid exercising, tanning, waxing, or threading until fully healed. Do not apply makeup, eyebrow pencil, lotion, or other facial products on the brows until they are fully healed.
  • DRY HEAL (No ointments, lotions, oils, or Vaseline on brows). Apply A&D ointment if they become too dry (ONLY IF THE ARTIST ADVISES YOU TO).
  • Wear a hat if you know you will be in the sun for an extended period, as sun exposure can significantly alter the color.
  • Once fully healed, applying sunscreen to the brows is recommended.

What to Expect:

  • Day of procedure: Swelling and redness may occur. Brows will also feel sore from the trauma. You can take Advil or Tylenol after the procedure to reduce pain and prevent headaches.
  • Day 1-5: Eyebrows will appear extremely dark and thick. They will start to dry and itch. DO NOT PANIC, COLOR WILL GET SOFTER ONCE HEALED.
  • Day 6-14: Brows will start to crack, and scabs will begin to fall off little by little. Do not pull scabs, as this can cause poor color retention, infection, or even scarring. The itching sensation should minimize once the skin is fully exfoliated.
  • Day 14-30: Skin will continue to heal, and the pigment will slowly reappear during the natural regeneration cycle.
  • Week 4-6: Clients should see true results.

Please Note:

Results vary among individuals based on skin type and how well the skin retains pigment. Most clients will need two sessions. Some will only need one, while others may require a third touch-up to complete the look at an additional charge.
